Greenhouse Growers
The Greenhouse Growers grow plants for the Perennial Plant Sale and Plant Centre. These include some hardy herbaceous perennials and a variety of half-hardy plants for summer planting, greenhouse or conservatory growing, as well as some hardy trees and shrubs. Many of the hardy plants are grown in Totem Field for a year or more before they are sold. Some of the plants are from members’ gardens as well. The time of the Perennial Plant Sale marks the clearing out of the stock and the beginning of the summer season of propagation.
