| Potting Up |
|
The purpose of the Potters–Up is to supply plants for the Perennial Plant Sale and the Plant Centre. Plant material is received from various sources such as FOG gardens, UBC garden, Totem Field, Back 40 and other donors. Plants are divided, repotted and cared for prior to their sale. Three teams of FOGS are required. Tuesdays - 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., Wednesdays 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. and Thursdays 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.. Work slows considerably in winter as plant material is reduced and weather is poor. A very busy period is during the weeks leading up to the Perennial Plant Sale. Potting up in Winter! ![]()
